What Others Are Saying

"Tosh was a leader on my team, constantly striving to move the entire team toward whatever the goal was. He was constantly seeking more knowledge relevant to the next project, and always made sure to bring the entire team along with him, sharing the knowledge he gained. He is a force multiplier on any team he's on, and sometimes even teams he's not. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Tosh and would recommend him for any Senior Engineer position."

"My team worked alongside Tosh for the majority of 2025 while he was on an adjacent team at Angi. Even without being his direct manager, Tosh’s impact on the organization was easy to see. He spearheaded several challenging projects and led RFCs that delivered high-impact features for our Pro Experience. Tosh has a reputation for being both technically sharp and incredibly professional. In every interaction I had with him, he was insightful and collaborative. It was also clear that... "

"Tosh worked on a sister team to mine during our time at Angi and my engineers had lots of positive interactions with him while they were getting up to speed on a new code base for eventual new ownership in our group's space. I knew Tosh to be an engineer that led his team in technical understanding and knowledge and was deserving of the promotions that were awarded to him. Tosh will be an asset to any team."

Key Coursework

Engineering Philosophy

These are my own principles and lessons learned throughout my professional journey that guide how I approach software engineering, team collaboration, and product development.

Own Outcomes, Not Just Output

Deploying to production is not the finish line. I take responsibility for business impact, metrics, reliability, user experience, and long-term maintainability. If it breaks, underperforms, or confuses users, I own that too.

Don't Work in a Vacuum

Great engineering is a team sport. I seek feedback early, communicate trade-offs clearly, and partner with product, design, and stakeholders. Alignment prevents rework and multiplies impact.

Challenge the Status Quo

I question assumptions and push for better architecture, better product decisions, and better processes. Challenge status quo, but ensure the process of improvement accelerates delivery, not stall it.

Level Up Everyone

Strong teams outperform strong individuals. I love mentoring, teaching, and sharing context generously in order to create space for others to grow. When I help others grow, I grow too, and as a result the whole team grows stronger. Therefore, I will always push for a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Work Hard, Code Well

Effort matters but disciplined execution matters more. I believe in deep focus, high standards, and writing code that is clean, reliable, maintainable and built to last. Craftsmanship is respect for teammates and future developers who will work on my code.

Don't Repeat Mistakes

Every outage, bug, or missed requirement is a lesson. I believe in postmortems, root cause analysis, and building guardrails so the same problem doesn't happen twice.

Let's Connect

I'm always open to discussing new opportunities, interesting projects, or just having a great conversation about technology. Feel free to reach out through any of the channels below.
